The study of how ideas, behaviors, and cultural phenomena spread and evolve through society in a manner analogous to biological genes and natural selection.

The part of the human psyche that mediates between the conscious and unconscious mind, enabling a coherent sense of self-identity and reality testing.

The subjective experience and expression of emotions, encompassing the physiological, cognitive, and behavioral components of feelings like joy, sadness, fear, etc.

Biological Imperatives

The innate, evolutionarily-derived drives, needs, and behavioral tendencies that arise from our biological nature and genetic inheritance as a species.
